Yep, I decided to head down that road... Water Cooling the PC.

First Few pics of Water Cooling Project..

Ford Light Truck Radiator

Early 80's Ford Light Truck Heater Core

First Reservoir

Radiator and Homemade PVC Reservoir

Old Case I will put it all in....

Here is my second reservoir a bit smaller and cleaner. The fan is a 120mm for reference.

And to give credit where credit is due... I found directions HERE. Easy and Cheap

OK... so the water block will not be home made, but the D-TEK White water is one of the best out there..

Starting to load things into the PC case, this will sit next to my main PC with the water tubes and one 12v line connecting them

Excuse the wires, I am wiring my own relay. When my main PC powers up, the pump and fans in the cooling case will start,

but I am wiring the old power switch to act like an override... Press the power button and the pump comes on for testing or bleeding.

Here is the pump I have on the way, the Via Aqua 1300. a bit less expensive than the big boys (Eheim, Hydor) but seems to get good reviews

UPDATE

Recede the pump and after MUCH testing and trying... the thing just won't stop leaking! Please see picture below.. it just won't stop leaking!!

As a result, the VIA is going away and I will replace it with the Hydor L30 pump. Hopefully this will work. I'll keep you posted!!

Here is everything inside the case for leak testing... the inside will be lined with sound absorption material
